"We held our breath and looked skyward as we assembled for the start of the WBW Trophy competition. It was, after all, the last competitive match of the season and surely the sun would look down kindly on us. "What a Finals Weekend we had, which was held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September. The weather was glorious on Saturday, as was the bowling with some very close fought games. Rain did stop play on Sunday afternoon, but only briefly, when again we were all treated to some excellent bowling and another round of close games.
