"What a Finals Weekend we had, which was held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September.
The weather was glorious on Saturday, as was the bowling with some very close fought games.
Rain did stop play on Sunday afternoon, but only briefly, when again we were all treated to some excellent bowling and another round of close games.
Twelve finals were held over the two days finishing with The Fleming Cup ( Ladies' club championship) which was won by Jean Lamb and The President's Cup (Gents' club championship) which was won by Lee Coutts after a 28-end epic and a nail-biting finish. A fitting end to Finals Weekend.
