The WBW Trophy concludes our bowling season in style…
This report (italics) has been kindly provided by our two captains – Gary Preston and Ann O’Halloran. Gary begins… The final full day competition of the season took place on Saturday 12th September. The WBW Trophy was created in honour of Brian Weatheritt who was the father of Ann O’Halloran, our Ladies’ Captain. Finals Weekend 2026 – The Results
This report was kindly provided by Gary Preston and Mark Peatman. "Our finals weekend consisted of twelve games featuring a good number of our members, playing hard fought games for the various trophies. The whole event was organised by Mark Peatman and the team captains, and the two days went very smoothly. They included a cake stall with all proceeds going to our President's charity - which raised an excellent £173 for Saint Michael's Hospice. The bar was open all weekend

The Canning Cup 2026. Outstanding.
The following report (italics) was kindly provided by Simon Hamer, our Chairman. Monday, 31 August had arrived. The annual Canning Cup, our traditional end-of-season contest between the ladies and the men, was enjoyed by all who took part - although we had a slightly worrying start with the weather: 12.50 p.m. Rain!
