We were very fortunate to be able to enjoy our sport on another beautiful summer afternoon.
The following report was kindly provided by John Drake, Competition Secretary.
“The new format Verity Frearson Mixed Triples competition took place on Saturday August 3rd.
There were 12 teams divided into 2 groups playing each other in a five 4 end round robin competition. The winners from each group progress to the grand final to be held on Finals Weekend.

Red Team - John Russell, Jan Burdin and Peter Lamb.
Blue Team – Norman Jackson, Christine McWee and John Bright.
An excellent afternoon of bowls was followed by a cream tea.”
