The sun was shining when we took to the rinks to compete for the A-plan Trophy on Saturday 3rd June.
After an afternoon of very enjoyable, competitive bowling the result was:
Runners up: Alan Hansford, Margaret Speedie and Sue Wallace.
Winners: Phil Devall, Judith Chappel and Barry J Smith.
The Trophy was presented by Chris Bishop of A-Plan insurance.
Our thanks also go to A-plan for providing the light refreshments, which followed the bowling.
A-Plan has very generously agreed that the payment to the club for any new policy taken out by a member will be increased from £30.00 to £50.00. They have also confirmed that they will continue to sponsor us next season and promised that there will be even more Prosecco! A big thank you to them …
