The commentary was kindly provided by our Ladies’ Captain, Margaret Bailey.
On Thursday 20 July we hosted the second leg of the Masham Trophy, an annual event keenly contested between the ladies of Masham and Harrogate Bowling Clubs. We held a comfortable lead from the first leg and were able to build on that for a convincing win.
The match provided an opportunity for some of our newer members to enjoy the experience of playing in this very enjoyable fixture.
Play gets underway.
There's no shortage of energy.
A close end.
Closer still. The measure is needed.
Two skips confirm the scores for their rink. Overall, a win to HBC.
The afternoon ended with a wonderful tea provide by our lady members and huge thanks to everyone who played a part in making this occasion so successful.
