Our ladies hold on to the Masham Trophy.

The commentary was kindly provided by our Ladies’ Captain, Margaret Bailey.

On Thursday 20 July we hosted the second leg of the Masham Trophy, an annual event keenly contested between the ladies of Masham and Harrogate Bowling Clubs. We held a comfortable lead from the first leg and were able to build on that for a convincing win.

The match provided an opportunity for some of our newer members to enjoy the experience of playing in this very enjoyable fixture.

The afternoon ended with a wonderful tea provide by our lady members and huge thanks to everyone who played a part in making this occasion so successful.


The Masham Trophy competition was established in 1997, 26 years ago. It has been played each year with the exception of 2020 and 2021. Further details are available in the “Past Honours” section of the website:
