CLUB NEWS

In the bleak mid-winter…

… nothing was going to stop us enjoying our Christmas party. The weather outside was foul but inside our clubhouse things were very different. Great company plus excellent food and a well-stocked bar. What more could you want?

The evening gets under way.

Ladies in red (mainly)

Our new President (left) and former President

A festive jumper fest.

I’ve never seen such a big sausage roll!

Our fantastic bar team who kept us well supplied all evening.

We enjoyed quizzes, bingo and a raffle with prizes aplenty throughout. We even had a Christmas club poem specially written for the evening and read by its author Sue Russell.

Tap on the link below to enjoy it again (or for the first time if you weren’t able to be at the party).

As the evening drew to a close our President thanked Sue - as organiser-in-chief - and everyone who helped and took part. But the best part was still to come:

The raffle raised £117 for the President’s Charity –

The Alzheimer’s Society.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.
