CLUB NEWS

In the bleak mid-winter…

… nothing was going to stop us enjoying our Christmas party. The weather outside was foul but inside our clubhouse things were very different. Great company plus excellent food and a well-stocked bar. What more could you want?

The evening gets under way.

We enjoyed quizzes, bingo and a raffle with prizes aplenty throughout. We even had a Christmas club poem specially written for the evening and read by its author Sue Russell.

As the evening drew to a close our President thanked Sue - as organiser-in-chief - and everyone who helped and took part. But the best part was still to come:

The raffle raised £117 for the President’s Charity –

The Alzheimer’s Society.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.
